Good dogs are not born they are socialized and trained!

You can't live properly with a dog unless it's trained. It's that simple,
especially with a German Shepherd Dog. An untrained dog is an invitation to disaster.
A dog that won't come when you call is always in danger.

A German Shepherd's remarkable intelligence gaves them the ability to think for themselves
Therefore will assume the leadership role if not trained and given firm rules to follow.
Shepherds need a lot of guidance in order to reach their potential. They take to obedience
training quite well and excel as guide dogs, assistance dogs for the physically challenged,
search and rescue dogs, police patrol dogs, narcotics dogs, agility dogs, etc.

If you don't train and exercise your dog, you are at fault. No one else. If fact, if you're not prepared to properly train your German Shepherd
Dog, don't get one in the first place. Neither one of you will be happy. A trained German Shepherd Dog is a happy German Shepherd Dog
and a happy owner. Good training gives the German Shepherd Dog and all dogs the ability to speak the same language with us.

Now for the good news: German Shepherd Dogs are easily trained. That's probably the reason why German Shepherd Dogs
have long been America's favorite pet and most versatile breed.

Despite the fact that they train relatively easily, however, you still have to do the job.
