**Cadence**
Cadence (AKA Keller) is doing great in her new home. Here pictured with her 3 human siblings and Brightstar sib Molly, she is, as usual, the center of attention. She loves to play outside with Molly, go for a 2 mile jog, take >out all the dog toys, steal all the "not" dog toys and put them in her crate, learn new tricks, get belly rubs, meet new people, .... There isn't much she doesn't love. Her blindness doesn't get in the way at all. Sometimes, we think she's faking!

**Ivy**
When Ivy was born on May 5, 2006 I fell in love immediately. We bonded really fast and she had found a place really deep down in my heart. I could not let her go. Everywhere I went with her was an experience for me because everyone kept saying I want her, how much is she. I promised Ivy I would never let her go and that she would stay with me for as long as she lived. Ivy is a great dog and I could never of let her go because we are so attached. When Ivy was little I spoiled her rotten, but how could you resist her little face. She knew that when she saw me I would take her out of her crate and pay special attention to her. Of course now she is used to all that special treatment and loves to be with me. Ivy still thinks she is a baby and wants me to hold her, but now as you can imagine she is a big girl now. Everyone has to hold a puppy sometime or another. Know wonder she loves to be held now a days because when Ivy was little I always held her . Well atleast she tries to get me to hold her . Now that Ivy has been with me for ten months, I have noticed that there would of been no way I could of let her go. And today I love her and she loves me!! Ivy has completed her Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) and I am very proud of her.

**Copper**
I adopted Copper in December 2005. He had been in the animal shelter for almost two years. When he was brought in, they estimated his age around 7 or 8. They didn't have a lot of details on this past, but they believe he had been neglected by his former family. One of the workers thought he had been left tied up outside all the time.
Also, it seemed that he had been passed from one family to the next.Everyone at the shelter really loved Copper. They all gathered around to see him off. When I adopted him, he knew some basic training commands and behaved very well in the house. He didn't need to be house trained at all. He seemed a little depressed at first, but now he is very happy. Copper might have lost a step or two, but he still runs around in the backyard like a puppy. He loves rolling in the snow and really seems to miss it.
He's a really great dog! Also, one time he pulled me out of a burning building. (This was a slight embellishment, but I like to encourage people to adopt a senior dog!)”

**Kye (now Kylee)**
Kylee (formerly Kye) joined our family in West Henrietta, NY. Kylee is a stunning, sweet girl. She's getting a lot of love and attention from our daughters. Kylee's great fun, athletic and very energetic. She loves her toys, especially the squeaky ones. She is very careful around our senior dog Zack, and is learning her manners. She's already a much loved member of our family. Thank you BrightStar for this beautiful dog! Ken, Liz, Katie & Maddie

**Hutch (now Cartwright)**

Thank you BrightStar for Cartwright (previously H puppy Hutch). He has turned out to be not only another one of our pets in the family but everyone's best friend. He is the proctector of all at our house. Yet he can be quite the "ham" at times. He is known as the "Big Buffoon" to all at BrightStar. You can't help but smile when he is in your presence. What a great boy!!!!
