BrightStar always needs several items or services!

Please check the list and see if you can donate one!

BrightStar always is in need of dog food, toys, beds,nylon dog collars and other supplies are most gratefully received, as are items we can use for fundraisers.  

If you're a Professional in the pet industy such as a Trainer,Veterinarian, Grooming Service, Boarding Service who can donate or provide a discount on your services, please contact Nancy: harlyboy@rochester.rr.com

Anything on the list you can do????????

  • How about a PETsMART Gift Card Just click to purchase and send to Brightstar. We can use these to groom a dog, buy dogfood and items! They are great and always needed!

    • Pre-paid calling cards. If you are a member...they are really a great price at
      Sams Shopping Club

    • Crate or portable kennel (any style). USED or NEW . Get one now at Petsmart Remington Wire Crates

    • Package of Heartquard Plus Heartworm preventative. Dog average weight 55-100lbs. These you can BUY ON LINE  and have ship to us!!

    • Flea/Tick Preventative packages: Either FrontLine Plus or Advantage Plus. Dog average weight 55-100lbs. These you can BUY ON LINE  and have ship to us!!

    Own a business ? - How about Advertising for the rescue! or putting up a donation box on your counter.

    • Having a yard sale or bake sale and donate the proceeds to the rescue.

    • Spread the Word - Talk to all of your friends about adopting or fostering one of our dogs.

    • Pay for housecleaning services for a person who fosters all the time.

    • Lend your artistic talents to help design or create items we can raffle or sale.

    • Solicit local businesses for their support and donations to the rescue.

    • Hold a car wash and donate the proceeds to the rescue.

    • Donate training services for rescue dogs.
